SecNumCloud
The French ANSSI qualification guaranteeing that a cloud service offers the highest security level and protection against extraterritorial laws.
SecNumCloud is the security visa issued by ANSSI (the French national cybersecurity agency) to cloud providers. Since version 3.2, it includes immunity criteria against extraterritorial laws: a qualified operator cannot be compelled by foreign law (such as the Cloud Act) to hand over customer data.
For a company, choosing SecNumCloud hosting — or deploying on-premise — is the safest way to guarantee AI data stays under European jurisdiction. It is an increasingly common requirement in public procurement and regulated industries.
