Why Eridia exists
European companies face a false dilemma: adopt AI and expose their data, or protect their data and give up on AI. Eridia exists to remove that choice.
Where it started
In 2024, one thing was obvious in every conversation we had with CIOs, lawyers and CFOs: their teams were already using AI — through personal accounts, outside any framework. And management could not approve anything, because no consumer tool met their confidentiality, GDPR or professional secrecy constraints.
Meanwhile, open-source models were reaching a level that made something new possible: state-of-the-art AI running entirely inside the company's perimeter, on its own servers or on a French cloud.
Eridia was born from that intersection: the need was there, so was the technology. What was missing was a French vendor to assemble the two into a product teams actually adopt.

A company incorporated under French law, hosting with European providers (Scaleway, OVHcloud), a team in Toulouse. Sovereignty is not a marketing claim, it is our legal structure.
An answer without a source is an opinion
Every answer on the platform cites its sources — your documents, clause by clause. Trust is not declared, it is verified.
Comfort is non-negotiable
A compliant AI that is painful to use will be bypassed. We measure our work against a single yardstick: is it as fluid as consumer tools?
Who builds Eridia
Eridia is built in Toulouse by a small team led by Hugo Dorus, its founder. A developer by training (EPITECH), he spent several years helping organizations adopt generative AI before seeing the same blocker everywhere: companies wanted AI, but not at the cost of their data.
We deliberately keep the team small and the contact direct: the people answering your questions are the ones writing the code. Every deployment feeds straight back into the product.
